With Squirt perched on my hip as he clung tightly to my neck (he hated the sand, refusing to put his feet in it!), I stood at a vantage point, shielding myself from the scorching hot sun as I let the cool, light sea breeze stroked my face while I watched the gentle waves rushed ashore.
It was a beautiful day.
The sight of father-daughter bonding moments, unfolding right before my eyes made it even preciously beautiful.
With a smile on my face, I embraced the warmth and the little joys in life watching Silver Bullet and my daughter got lost in their own little world as they took a long walk on the beach; eyeing out for pretty shells.
This is life. It is about taking in the moment and making the best of it.
