Sunday Humour: When Things Were Simpler

When I saw this, the first thing that caught my attention was the phone. The dial-up phone. Pretty antique! Anybody remember that? Better yet, do you or do you know anyone who still has that phone? No, I’m not THAT old, but I remember that dial-up phone. I remember using one too; probably when I was about 3 years old. One of my earliest memory.
How simple things were then. And this image captures it all!

Remember that phone?! Why yes for many many years unfortunately it was the only form of communication… although wonderfully simplistic, when you have a phone number where the majority of numbers are 7,9, and 0 (for the 7 digit combo) one slip of the finger and you have to hang up and start all over. Very traumatic for a kid where time is of the essence and just wants to ask if she can eat over her friends house for dinner…..

I guess it was fun for me because I was only 3 years old. 😉
