Spud came home from school last Friday bearing this note written by her teacher in her Daily Activity Booklet from her school:

I was more tickled than anything, and like any proud (in my case, bemused!) parent, I beamed when I saw the note and gave her tons of praises and congratulations. Spud even seemed pleased with herself and she was in a good mood pretty much most of the time.

She got a pencil for being the winner. 

I did not know that they had organised a dance competition. Had I have known about it, I would have made the trip to her school to witness it. It makes me wonder what kind of dance she pulled to have won the competition! I really wish I was there to see it.
