Pensive

I was just lounging around on the couch over the weekend and saw Fudge in this posture. I had to quietly retrieve my camera and try to stealthily snap this before she decided to move away.
It’s a simple image this, but there’s something about it I really like. There’s an element of serenity, calmness, yet a sense of curiosity of what might be out there…pensive, yet grounded and sure. Somehow I felt like it was an exact reflection of how I felt on a cloudy, rainy Sunday afternoon.
