Holland 2014 Wrap-up

Category: Travels

We almost did not make it to Holland at the very last minute due to unforeseen circumstances, but made the decision to go ahead with our plans soon enough for a much needed vacation of being away and out of Bangkok’s toxic environment for a little while.

Where the weather was concerned, I wasn’t really too bothered by it. In fact, I relish the smell of the rain, love the cloudy, rainy days and enjoyed the cool wind every now and then. The surrounding scenery was pleasing to the eyes and the clean air was something I really appreciate. The only one thing I want to do and didn’t get to do was go to the Keukenhof and snap a few awesome pictures amidst the tulips in the fields like we did a few years ago.

This must have been one of the longest vacation we have had out of Bangkok for a while. It was also one of the most personal yet, which left the deepest impression in our lives as well as shaping what becomes of it in the future to come.

This time round, it has been one hell of an extremely memorable trip!
