Diminishing Freedom of Choice

How is it that it is other people’s business of what we do or don’t do in our very own apartment? The mighty US of A and their absurd, ludicrous law to the max of banning smoking in your own apartment. Apparently, it applies to you  if you are sharing a floor, sharing a ceiling and sharing a wall. I seriously think it’s pushing it a little bit.

I have to roll my eyeballs to the back of my eye-sockets after reading the bit in Dallas where they argued on whose right it is based on who moved to the apartment first – the smoker or the non-smoker, and the fact that the non-smoker renewed her contract. Seriously. What tragedy to dwell on such inane things. People do need to get a life rather than worry what their neighbours do. If they want to smoke themselves to death, just let it be. We all die someday!

Norway, Australia, Iceland…

… are apparently the best countries to live in for the bestest quality of life. Nice to know that some countries are forging ahead to the development of human well-being and sanity.

DSLR Series: Holland

Category: Photography

Some of my favourite shots of the Holland scenery taken from Silver Bullet’s DSLR archive from his last trip back home recently. What beautiful skylines!

Just looking at these pictures gives me the bloody itch to just pack up my stuff and travel again!
