Fine Dining @Gaggan
If fine dining and amazing gastronomic experience is your cup of tea, don’t forget to make a reservation at Gaggan next time you are in downtown Bangkok. Ask for the seat next the kitchen and it’s a perfect place to celebrate practicality anything in the name of food!
Gaggan makes every serving special, and every dish would guarantee to give you a unique experience of food that teases your taste-buds; making you look forward to the next dish and the next and the next. They have recently changed some dishes in their menu, as well as replaced their previous not-so-likeable Maitre’D with a new one. (Thank you, Gaggan!). I found the lady to be very warm, friendly and attentive to their guests, giving us lots of smiles when she attended to us. Perfect!
So, what’s new in Gaggan’s arsenal of gastronomic pleasures? Well! Several. While most of the appetizers somewhat remained (oh! How I love those edible plastic and the explosive eggy-tasting blob which has absolutely no egg in it!), there have been a few differences in their main course.

My choice was a modest menu this time round (last picture from left). I had opted for the most basic with a Mango Smoothie as my personal choice for a cold entrée beverage, as I have become very aware that going for the full spread would be way too much. Still, the most basic choice filled up the tummy quite nicely.
Here are the latest creations from Gaggan. Drool at your own risk.

The nicest thing about this amazing food journey was that we made 4 other people really happy on our choice of food. Silver Bullet’s family agreed that it was an amazing experience for them and they had thoroughly enjoyed Gaggan’s creation of Indian Fusion. I still think the experience in Gaggan is really out of the ordinary, but one that cannot and should not be done too often.
I’d love to come back and do another review of their food when they come up with their next, new creation. Click on the link if you want to find out more about Gaggan experience in Bangkok. It’s definitely worth a shot and I now know 4 other people who have absolutely love ther Gaggan experience and could not stop raving about it.
