In response to LISAPOMERANTZSTER 3 Days, 3 Quotes Challenge

When Lisa pinged me about this quote challenge, the quote sucker in me squealed with joy. I am only too happy to get another challenge to post a quote a day for 3 days,

Or so I thought.

Turns out that this one comes with a slight variation as it requires me to provide “3 new quotes on many topics”. Eh? New quotes? What the hell. What does “3 quotes would have to be used for many topics” mean? I don’t quite get this!

Damn! Finding new quotes is hard and that’s the only reason why it has taken me so long to respond. Plus my newly-minted SAHM’s brain is not cut out for this!

Or maybe I’m just over-thinking this.

So, errr…thank you Lisa for the brain exercise. I figured it’s probably easier to find quotes related to the current hot topics. Here we go:

Our children’s health and prosperity is too important to ignore the consequences of climate change.

– President Obama’s tweet on climate change

“It was what I wanted. I was able to dedicate myself to this last comeback and that was it. One last hurrah. Looking back, it happened exactly how I wanted it to and exactly how it should have.”

– Michael Phelps reflects on his swimming comeback, with four Rio gold medals taking his career Olympic tally to 23.

Against all odds, we press on! We do not give up! We do not surrender! We do not compromise! We are honor! We are heart!

WE! ARE! VALOR!

on Pokemon Go when one user wrote on the Team Valor subreddit.

So that’s the best I can do.

Of course, there are rules!

  • Provide 3 new quotes on many topics each day for three days
  • Nominate 3 new bloggers each day for three days
  • Thank the lovely writer who challenged you. In my case, thank you Lisa Pomerantzster: Are We There Yet
  • Let the bloggers you have challenged, know about it (it’s a thing, part of the shtick)

Here are my nominees:

  1. Memoirs of the Quiet
  2. The Pink Herald’s Blog
  3. Just Blue Dutch

Now that I have started, I’ll have to think of something else that would be considered new tomorrow. God help me.
