Price (i.e money) and material possessions are fast becoming  a natural obsession, and in Thailand, those two elements  seem to be further magnified by them being equated to currencies of status symbol. As parents, we just  have to try 3x harder to not accept values we don’t subscribe to as the norm – just because those “values” seem acceptable by those around us.
