As compared to Singapore,  Thailand does have more public holidays in a year. With only a few months being the exception, the rest of the months comes with one or two pubic holidays every other week! And that makes me REALLY happy; especially so when today marks the last day of the week as Friday is a public holiday. That means, we have another long weekend this week! Sweet.

That being said, I am even more  surprised to know that Netherlands actually has more days off than in Thailand! And if the number of public holidays is the only  motivation for me to start shifting my ass to find ourselves a new home, I would pick the  anywhere in the Top 6. I’m not sure if I want to live in Russia, but I bet living in Italy would not be so bad at all!
