These poignant, powerful words thought to have originated from Meryl Streep when it made its way round the internet last year, has, once again emerged on my newsfeed. Sources have quoted that these words were originally penned by a Portuguese life coach/self-help guru by the name of José Micard Teixeira and has nothing to do with Meryl Streep who probably happened to agree with the sentiments of this quote.
Regardless who has the rightful claim to it, I thought that these words were beautifully penned. Empowering words…a permission to yourself to make the choices you rightfully deserve.

I soooo love these words so much I also posted it on my birthday. Although Meryl Streep may live by these words, these are not originally hers. I forgot the author’s name though.
