Now here’s to the few weirds (and I’m saying that in endearment):
If you are a movie buff and/or is one of those who grew up in the 90’s, you’d probably recall a movie called Trainspotting.
A British black comedy drama film, Trainspotting was released in 1996 starring Ewan McGregor as one of the main cast. This movie brought back lots of fond memories from my growing up years where my passion for movies was honed. Even after all these years, it remains as one of my favourites all-time movies. It’s “Choose Life” scripts has since appeared like a mantra in my moments of distractions which I happened to write about back in 2009.
As I found out pretty darn recently, it is looking like Trainspotting 2 will be released in the theatre in January 2017 – 21 years later! Ooohh…la..lah! This is super wicked exciting and I cannot bloody wait!
Yep. The decision has been made. I’m waiting for it and I’m going to watch T2 (please do not confuse it with terminator 2 because that would be blasphemous to Trainspotting). Of course, there would be a chance where I would be sorely disappointed because that’s always the case, isn’t it?
Still. It happens when it happens. For now, I think it’s time we dig up our old Trainspotting DVD and let the reminiscing begin!
With the Dutch, there really is no beating about the bush.
Now I’m actually seeing why just a simple “how are you” would usually turn into a 10-minute conversation, and inevitably points towards the weather! That explains it all.
