If you are ever on a mission of finding one of the better-tasting cookies ever made in Bangkok, I would recommend you to give Doi Tung Macadamia Nut Cookies a try. In fact, I would go as far as to strongly suggest that this would be one of those items you should consider giving as souvenirs if you are a tourist visiting Bangkok.

Ever since I discovered these cookies (by accident), I have to admit that I have been completely obsessed with them. Just one bite was enough to keep me going for more, and by the time I realized that I just may have consumed a tad too much, the entire pack was finished. I have been buying them every other week after lunch as one of the Doi Tung outlets is conveniently located in my office building. Not so good for my waistline, so I try to consume no more than 2-3 cookies every other day.

Costing 80 Baht a box consisting of about 20-30 pieces of 1 inch (in diameter) cookies, they can be found in Doi Tung outlets available all over Bangkok. They come in 3 flavours: Chocolate, Coffee and Vanilla – and I personally prefer the chocolate flavoured ones which I find to be oh-so-divine.

I happen to think that this is one of those Bangkok ‘s best-kept secrets and trust me, this is worth it.
