Bliss
It’s 1.36 am. After a busy day of flying, appointments and shuttling back and forth between places, I’ve finally settled down in my hotel room. I finally get to put my feet up.
Besides the sound of me typing away furiously on my keyboard and the noise in my head, there isn’t much else. It’s kind of quiet out here. The silence is almost deafening. And it feels heavenly.

At 1.41 am, I should be way asleep. I know I’ll probably pay for it tomorrow, but I least I can smile to myself that for a good 3 days, I don’t have to wake up to screaming kids throwing temper tantrums, yelling NO in my ears and witnessing the never-ending fights over who gets to press the buttons on the elevator first followed by one kid screeching so loud in anger when the other kid got to the buttons first such that it is enough to wake up the dead…amongst other things…
Now, THAT.IS.BLISS.
