It was 9 p.m, we’ve had dinner, the cats have been fed, the kids have gone to bed – fast asleep for at least 1.5 hours and I have had every intention to focus on my writing and complete a couple of my posts which have been in draft for several days now.

Instead, I got distracted reading other people’s blogs,  got caught up interacting with the bloggers on their blogs whenever that tiny little dialog box popped up on the right-hand corner, and very quickly got carried away with new blogs I have discovered. The next thing I knew, another 1.5 hours have passed and I was no closer to finishing what I had set out to do earlier. My drafts are still in drafts with no more than 3 sentences on my screen. At almost 11 p.m, I can barely think straight.

But I did find several good blog parties/events out there and I thought I’ll share my find with you; although I’m pretty sure some of you have already been there because I have seen you! It’s also a good way for me to keep up with who is doing what…just because I’ve got a memory of a goldfish.

So without further ado, here are my recent find:

1. Sunday Blog-Be-Que by Ritu

Share your blog, write a few words introducing yourself, and your blog website address, so people can click and see what your blog is all about. Share the post as well so your own readers can benefit from some ‘blog-beque networking’ too!

2. Cee’s Oddball Photo Challenge by Cee

I consider myself as a little bit of an odd-ball  and naturally, just the title alone resonates with me. So, if you have any odd ball photos, this challenge is for you. This Odd Ball Challenge is not topic related.  Feel free to add any photos or artwork that fits into the category.  Be creative and challenge yourself.

3.  Everyday Mom Link-Up by Diapers and Tutus

Share your Every day mom or parenting stories! Daddy bloggers are welcome too! Remember the rules – share your post and then like, comment or follow at least two other bloggers.

4. Harsh Reality’s Meet and Greet by Opinionated Man

Opinionated Man has a crazy whopping 53,881 followers as I am writing this.  And I love his badass attitude. All bloggers are welcome to use his space post as a “Self-Promotion” thread for their blog, projects, causes, writing, books, eBooks, food, fashion, or whatever you are into. He encourages anyone looking for new blogs to view or people to converse with to browse through the comment section and network.

5. Couples by A Momma’s View

Nothing more beautiful than an amazing love story. Do you have a beautiful love story to tell? Would you like to share it on Momma’s View’s blog? Email her!
