Friday Flavour: Fried Spiced-Scalloped Potatoes

Like carbs? There’s no reason not to! (Well…there is but we are not going to go there.)

This is one of my favourite easy to make snacks: Potatoes marinated with all sorts of spices and herbs for seasoning and then fried with rosemary-infused olive oil. Bless the easy access to pre-boiled taters from the supermarket to make cooking much easier.

After frying, sprinkle some salt and pepper all over and you’ve got yourself some goodness perfect for an afternoon snack.

Make sure you stock up your spice racks!

  1. I’m reading this at midnight, and it sounds like a stellar midnight snack, actually. When I make this, I think I’d do it more than once, and try a different spice combination each time. (This is what I do with other recipes – and it’s always frustrating when we find a perfect combination, but forget what we put in it!)

    • This makes for a perfect snack at midnight, Eli! I hear you with doing it more than once and trying a different combo, then forgetting that perfect recipe. I do it all the time. LOL

      Thanks for stopping by! ๐Ÿ™‚
